The Final Chapter
I am very nervous for graduation. I am nervous because, there is still a lot of assignments that I need to complete. For example, I still need to do my Job Shadow, I need to finish my Economics class, for my Introduction to Food Service class, I believe I only have a few assignments that need to be completed. I am worried/nervous, because I still need to complete most of second semester of Biology. So I am trying my very best to complete all of these classes, and past year classes, by staying after school and working on them.
After graduation, I am planning on going to college to study Nursing. I have chosen this, because it is what I love doing the most, helping people. I also chose nursing because it gives me the opportunity to learn more on how I can help make someone feel better. I am also planning on getting a job, because I want to move into an apartment with my friends a little after we finish High School. After High School. I am also planning to travel to New York, because I love visiting new places, and New York is the one place that I’ve wanted to travel to for a long time. As of right now I am on pace in most of my classes, which is a good thing, but I will keep working harder to be on pace to graduate.
Like I said previously, I still need some classes to complete, but little things in some of those classes. In Introduction to Food Service, for example, I only need some learning targets in 2 Measurement Topics, which is not a lot to complete. In English 11 B, the only thing to be completed there is a research paper, and I have done the Public Service Announcement assignment to cover that. Now that I have completed that, I am on pace in my English class. I also need to complete Spanish 2 that I didn’t get to finish my sophomore year, and the only thing I need is some of the second semester. Other than those few things, I am doing very well in all of my classes.
I am most looking forward to graduation day, because that's the day we all step into the real world. I am also looking forward to going to college to further my education so that I can become an RN (registered nurse). I am looking forward to becoming a nurse because it is all I have wanted to be since I was little. When I was younger, I would always play doctor with my older sister; I would always pretend to be the nurse, and she would pretend to be my patient. Also, I am looking forward to moving in with my best friends in the future. Since our Sophomore or Junior year, we’ve talked about moving into an apartment together so that we could share paying the bills and the rent. Of course we are moving in together during college, because right after High School would be too soon.
Looking back on senior year, I have come a long way. I was really behind in my classes, and I wouldn’t turn in my work so that’s what was holding me back from being on pace. I am grateful I got another chance to get on pace by staying after school everyday to finish my work. I am also happy that I get to graduate on time and with my entire class. Overall, my Senior year had its ups and downs, but it was one of the best experiences that I have ever had in my life.
